CNN Defense of Biden Collapses as 2nd Batch of Classified Documents Found

This week, CNN was quick to support President Joe Biden’s supposed poor handling of confidential documents with the statement “Under 12 Total”. However, this attempt at defense failed miserably when another set of classified documents were discovered in a separate location on Wednesday.

When news broke that ten classified documents had been discovered in Biden’s office at the Penn Biden Center, established two years ago, mainstream media networks jumped to his defense.

According to the reports, the documents contained privileged intelligence and military knowledge concerning Iran, Ukraine and Britain dating back to former Vice President Joe Biden’s tenure. Solely those with presidential clearance have declassification authority.

CNN attempted to make Biden’s mishandling of classified documents look less severe in comparison to Trump’s purported misuse, disregarding the fact that Trump had legal authorization for declassification and CNN could not realistically guarantee that the material discovered at the Penn Biden Center were exclusively mismanaged.

On Wednesday, according to NBC News, yet another set of classified documents was discovered by President Biden’s aides in a separate building related to him.

At the White House Press Briefing on Wednesday, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer any questions concerning whether former Vice President Biden had utilized other offices where classified documents might have been stored. This was just an hour before a report that was released later in the day.

In the aftermath of last year’s FBI raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, Joe Biden lashed out at Trump for his negligence regarding confidential materials.

Biden’s aides and attorneys have been entrusted with the difficult task of assessing whether any classified information has been mishandled or mislocated at places previously inhabited by Biden. As yet, no raids on Biden’s homes or offices have taken place; however, it remains unclear if his team possesses sufficient security clearance to handle such sensitive data.
