The Chinese government has created a "digital twin" of EVERY American in cyberspace.

Recent reports indicate that Chinese military-linked firms are collecting American DNA, and these firms now have the ability to create digital representations of all Americans, says John Mills.

“They have the capacity to create these complex models of each of us. They’re making digital twins of us,” Mills told the “China in Focus” program on NTD News.

Digital Twins

He pointed to the BGI Group, formerly Beijing Genomics Institute, which is spearheading the CCP’s genome project, as well as a main producer of COVID-19 tests.

In 2017, the company’s leader announced that it had finally reached an industrial level of success. They had made significant progression through genetic reform and gene editing and were now mass-producing multiple viruses, bacteria, and large yeasts.

“They can do all kinds of nefarious things with no constraint or loss. They have our data.” That data could be used to tailor a follow-up virus to target certain non-Han ethnicities, Mills warned.

In the same article, Mills criticized Beijing’s military-civil fusion strategy, stating that Chinese firms “are extensions of state security and state intelligence.”

He stressed that every Chinese company, as well as any firm incorporated in China – even if it originated in America – is included. “They are the eyes and the ears and the collectors.”

This is because, as Waterhouse said, when Americans reveal information to these organizations, their data is essentially going to Chinese intelligence.

“So they know about every one of us … I would presume that I have a file in China,” he added.

BGI Targets American Researchers

Mills expressed continued worries about BGI’s history of targeting well-known American researchers.

“They have a long history of targeting some of our best researchers … there is a proven track record that almost immediately veers into national security concerns with China,” he noted.

Chinese recruitment programs, such as the “thousand talents plan,” are allegedly used to attract international academics to work in China, a process that aids the regime in acquiring technology and expertise.

“China was just using money to essentially buy off professors and academics. So they have a very active program to go after our intellectual property, and essentially, to co-opt some of our leading researchers,” he said.

Mills described the Biden administration’s choice to cancel the “China Initiative” started by the Trump administration in 2018, which was meant to stop Chinese state-sponsored spying and trade secret theft, as “ridiculous and silly.”

“It’s going to [take] many years for … the CCP to demonstrate they can be trusted in these circles because right now, all the evidence is leaning against them,” he said.

Americans, Safeguard Your Medical Records

In his opinion, Americans should not do DNA tests, especially those related to the government sector. Furthermore, he suggested that Americans closely safeguard their medical records.

“Be aware that anything you do digitally … is being vacuumed up,” he warned.

Mills vehemently requested the U.S. government to blacklist Chinese entities, such as BGI Group, and cripple their ability to function in America due to the heightened national security risk they present.

“I think it’s very unwise to let them in because it is just like biological warfare,” he said.

“We need to be extremely, extremely concerned,” because data collected by DNA tests is key information for biological warfare, Mills added.”We have to look at that as a threat.”

“This is feeding them. They look at that as the strategic, commanding heights of the showdown with the West, mainly America,” he said.
